Daylighting has become one of the fastest growing green building strategies in the last few years due to its simple application, significant cost savings and its ability to create healthy, enjoyable work and living spaces. This course is designed to give an overview of how to achieve sustainable design goals with tubular daylighting devices (TDDs). TDDs have been used in commercial and residential designs around the world for 30 years and their flexible design allows them to be specified into nearly any project.

2. Describe three daylighting strategies and identify their advantages and disadvantages.

3. Identify and define the three technology stages that make up TDD products.

4. List three tools and resources Architects can use to incorporate TDDs into their projects.
